My apologies, I’ve been a little slack with my Wednesday Recipes. I found this perfect and simple recipe…to kick off the New Year!
7-Minute Paleo Apple Crumb
Apple Filling:
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 tsp water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Crumb Topping:
1/2 cup almond meal
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- Dash Himalayan sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Place chopped apples in a microwave safe bowl and add cinnamon, lemon, and water
- Microwave for 1 minute, then mix and microwave for another 1 min
- Mix and microwave for a remaining 30 seconds or until soft- set aside
- In a bowl combine topping ingredients until crumbly
- Place on baking tray and bake for 5 minutes
- Place apple filling in shooter glasses and layer with crumb topping.
